The Worst or Best of Time?

Have you ever lost a hour? I got off track yesterday and thought it was an hour later than it really was, so I gained an hour! That was cool. Have you ever lost a year? I had one birthday where I thought I was a year younger than I was, so in one day, I aged two years! That wasn't as fun.

Although time is measured out in hours, days, weeks and years, our perception of time can dramatically impact it. It's how the same day can seem to go exceptionally fast for one person (adults) and extremely slow to someone else (a child). This got me thinking about the time we are in right now, which is uncertain.

We have the ability to look at the future as the best of time or the worst of time. Even in the midst of unfortunate events, we can choose to see the best of it or the best in others and especially the best in us. Even in bountiful times, plenty of people see the worst of everything, so truly, time is what we make it. Choose wisely.
