The Power of One
You couldn't pay me enough money to take on the Presidency position. No matter who is elected, they have a tough job ahead of them. But if I were out campaigning, I'd suggest that it wasn't for the President to fix. Rather, each one of us needs to do our part by taking responsibility.
I wouldn't make big promises that I couldn't keep, but instead I would ask that each American do something small...one small change for the better: reduce your debt by living within your means, volunteer in the community to help those who are struggling get a hand UP not a hand OUT, do your job extremely well with high integrity, seek to give to this country and not take from it, support those who fight for our rights, pray for those who take advantage of those rights and love our country despite its flaws, warts...despite ourselves.
One by one, we can make a difference.
