Make it Fun!

Last night during spin class, I played some funny songs that people sang along with or laughed at. Our hour together went fast. We still worked out hard, but by having a little fun, it made the time go by quickly.

I believe this is a key to a successful fitness program. If you don't like what you are doing, you aren't going to do it consistently. And we need to be consistent if we want to see results.

What do you love to do? Whatever it is, make it fun and you'll stick with it longer. Being healthy isn't an event but a life-long process.

I agree 100% - you need to have fun. Not just in your fitness routine, but in life. If you look forward to your workout, you're going to want to do it. None of use want to participate in an activity that we dread. Consistency certainly is the key to a healthy lifestyle.

Having fun in everything you do is the key. If its not fun why bother??? Even the most mundane operations can be fun if your in the right mindset!

I do the same thing in my spin class, kick up the volume, always have a little funk, and during the cool down its always a sing along...most of the time i'm the only one singing but hey, Im having fun!!! My class is @ 5:45am so I get the opportunity to set the tempo for everyones day...Its amazing how well the day goes when you are in the right mindset!!!

Start the day out with the right mindset and have yourself a ball!!!
